Hi all,
We, along with some friends, are putting together another golf tournament this year to benefit a research
project being put together by Tim's oncologist. Our ultimate goal is to
raise $10,000 which may not actually be possible but we're going to try
to see how close we can get to it. It's really just a drop in the
bucket for what they need for the research but it makes us feel like
we're making a little bit of a difference.
We're working on finalizing the date & location today and should
have that information available on Tuesday at the latest. It's going to
be a pretty
accelerated time frame to put this on which is the reason for this post.
We are going to need a lot of help both leading up to the event & the day of for things such as:
- Gathering donations
- Signing up sponsors
- Promoting the event to the community
- Day of Volunteers
- Much, much more! (sounds fun right?)
Please let us know if you'd be willing to help, have any ideas of what to improve upon from last year or any great new suggestions for this year!
